Love these
A few years ago, I switched from using sponges for washing dishes to using washcloths, finding that washcloths didn't get smelly from germs like sponges did (as long as I hung them over the faucet to dry after washing the dishes). But these are even better, in my opinion. They are just "scrubby" enough to clean food from pots and pans without having to soak them first, but not so harsh that they will scratch anything. Dish soap gets trapped fairly well in the waffle pattern of the material, but of course they're not going to retain the amount of water and soap that a sponge does -- which I don't think is necessary anyway. They also feel like they will be very long-lasting. Would recommend to anyone disgusted by their sponges after using them for a while, and looking for something different to try!

The best thing for dishwashing!
I have been using this same cloth daily for almost 7 months. I lathers like a dream with vrry little soap and scrubs well without damaging the finish on delicate items. It dries quickly, and is in great shape even after so much use. I throw it in the washer once a week to keep it fresh and clean. I used to go through one sponge a week. It has paid for itself many times over. These hold a lot of water, so use a separate rag for cleaning counters. **Update- I now use these cloths exclusively. I replace them roughly every 5-6 months, and retire the old one to household scrub duty. The last photo is a comparison of a new cloth, one that has been in use for 3 months, and one that is a year old. The oldest one has been washed and dried many times. Avoid the dryer if possible, as the shrink. I tend to forget they are in the wash. *** tip - to get the most life out of these cloths, lay them flat on a dish towel and roll it up to remove the excess water and lay it over drain rack to air dry. I do this everyday and they don't sour.

I LOVE this scrubber
I LOVE this scrubber. It has a smooth side and a fibrous side; the fibrous side holds the soap and also is good for scrubbing baked or microwaved cheese off dishes from burritos and spaghetti, for example. I was drawn to purchasing this item after I read that it does not hold odor. That was not correct for me; I used to leave it draped over the median strip of my double side sink very wet, thinking that was enough attention because it dried so fast. I found that I needed to not only carefully rinse the scrubber, as I had been doing, but I had to wring it out.before I draped it over the median divide. Since I have been consistently doing that, I have not had any odor problem. I definitely prefer this over other scrubbers I have found and absolutely over sponges (OMG). I have washed it in the washing machine and the dishwasher with great results. I highly recommend this item!

Great scrubby, but not quite a true towel.
Just started using this instead of a scrubbing sponge. It seems to scrub well, getting pots clean, and removing baked on pieces of food. It's as close as I've seen to a true towel that can also act as a scrubbing sponge. I guess the trade-off in these types of products is that they are designed not to hold water, and to dry quickly. This does dry well, and seems much safer than a sponge that can hold moisture and promote bacteria. However, because it is designed to dry quickly, it is not a towel or a sponge. It cannot absorb water off a surface, so wiping a surface is really just spreading water (or soapy water) around. I've tried a few other quick drying dishwash towels, and this seems the best one I've tried so far.

I've used this for a bit over a week now and I've really enjoyed it. I bought it cause I used scrubby sponges that would start smelling really bad (and leave that smell on your hands) after a week or two. I had to keep microwaving them, which fixed it temporarily, but it could come back. (Also, microwaving a stinky sponge makes the whole house smell like stinky sponge for a while.) After looking at a number of options on Amazon (hydrophopic sponges, scrub clothes, etc) I decided to go with this. To give you an idea of how it is, it's about the size of a normal washcloth, but it's make up of this lattice of woven scrubby material. This lets you get a good grip (I fold it into quarter size to be handheld) and scrub really well. Given the woven shape, it drains dry nicely and even after a week or so, I can't smell any stinky sponge smell, even when I hold it up to my nose. Overall, a win in my book, and I will be buying them again.
