Why was this not included from BGE?
Should have been included with the smoker from BGE. Works great, makes cleanup of ash debris a snap.

Fit perfectly
A must have for your grill. Works perfectly, fit perfectly and it wasnโt too heavy. Well worth the money to make your life easier. Donโt know why I didnโt order this sooner.

Perfect fit for large green egg with one exceptionโฆ..
Great idea for ease of clean up. Fit perfect in large Green Egg. The fire grate fit like a glove. The only reason I, myself, didnโt give 5 stars is for a personal reason only. I use an ash basket and even with the handle removed the basket will not sit flat and allows rocking unless propped against wall of egg. This is due to where the handle attaches. It is minimal with handle removed and is still very usable but just not a perfect fit. Iโm sure there is a way to reconfirm the outside rim in order to attach handle in a different way where an ash basket will fit flush. Do this and it would be more than 5 stars! Overall I am still very pleased and would definitely recommend to others with a large green egg, especially those that do not use an ash basket.

Quality Finnish.
Just received the ash can, first impression was wow! very impressed with the quality of the product, fits perfectly in the BGE mini max. I have no doubt that this product will last for many years to come. Will update if I experience any issue. This will make cleaning up ten time easier.

What I received does not match the photo.
The transaction was great, but... The bail used for lifting the cast iron ash can is raised above the rim so the ash basket I purchased will not sit flush on top, instead it wobbles back and forth. The Ash Can pictured when I purchased it has a raised rim and recessed bail. that is why I chose this one. Is it possible to get one like that pictured when I ordered it.

Fits BGE MiniMax perfectly
I like that this has a handle. It's heavy cast iron and will make ash cleanup a breeze. It is well made and fits perfectly in my BGE MiniMax.
