After buying a bike that had crazy engine braking, and realizing that I would be giving no warning to others behind me, I set out to find a solution to my problem. The install on my Ninja 300 was pretty seamless. Just find the wires under the passenger seat, three snips and four splices later, you're ready to calibrate. To calibrate the device you have to angle the module either forward or backward towards the front or rear of the bike. Braking causes the ball bearing or mercury inside the module to be pushed forward to active the brake lights. Angling the device more forward makes it easier for whatever is in the module to push forward and activate the brake lights. Oh, and this device has a built in brake-light blinking function! For the price, this is the ultimate safety device for your bike! ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Not how it’s shown on advertisement *by S***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2021* They make the advertisement look easy to install but, it’s not.The wire layout did not match the advertisement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great safety tool, could use improvements *by J***H on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2016* I'm big on safety and I love the idea of these things. I like teh flash then steady brake light and would have gotten it just for that. The part I've had a bit of issue with is the feature where it flashes the brakes when decelerating. Ther is no sensitivity adjust - you basically adjust the inclination and/or orientation of the unit to "adjust". My V-Strom frame is sloped so I had to make a front spacer to raise it up to make it level enough to where it would operate correctly. Setting the front "uphill" decreases sensitivity and sloped "downhill" increases sensitivity. I've been told that going downhill sometimes it flashes the brake light as if I'm decelerating and braking.
