Before this even swimming jammer from.same company speedo which we ordered, turned out to be a complete disaster. My glove size is women's M or men's small and I got the medium Speedo paddle and promptly tweaked an old shoulder injury. Obviously a purpose of paddles is to increase resistance but a conservative paddle size might prove more sustainable and therefore build better fitness. You can always move up a size but getting rid of tweaks is hard. :-/ **Q: What are both edge to edge dims (length x width) of the respective sizes (S,M,L) of the paddles please?** A: Length 7” Width 5 1/4” I only know the small size because that is what I bought. **Q: Will these work for floating on a tube down the river to maneuver yourself in the right direction?** A: Probably could but is it sturdy enough. That would be the question.
