FlexGuard Posture Corrector for Women and Men (Large (Pack of 1))

I was very happy with my purchase from Flexguard Support. This is a very high quality product at a fair price. Other braces are either way over valued or dirt cheap to the point where they're ineffective. Quick story time as to why I needed the Flexguard Brace. I am relatively very young for someone buying a posture brace. I am 21 years old. I noticed my insanely poor posture during a college class where a webcam was used to broadcast both my teacher and our class on a screen. I could clearly see my slumped back and forward leaning neck and I knew right away it was the start of kyphosis. After that every time I looked in the mirror it was apparent how noticeable it actually was. I am also PCA at a hospital so I knew how important it was to have a healthy back for both my health and the quality of my work. I tried being more mindful of my posture and doing stretches 3 times a day but I saw real change when I actually purchased this brace for Flexguard and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. It fits under my shirts and isn't noticeable unless I point out I am wearing a brace. I wouldn't recommend wearing the brace for an extended length of time especially if you are doing anything mobile like bending over, squatting,or jumping as the brace will ride up and it's kind of hard to get it back in position without taking everything off. I tried wearing the brace for a whole 12 hour shift and I ended up taking it off half way through. What I do now is when I get home from school or work or whenever I have an hour or 2 at my desk at home I will put on the brace and become mindful of my posture for a few hours. I find that this is more than enough time to make a difference and I saw changes in my posture on the first day and long term change after 3 days of using the brace. I highly recommend this product if you have a similar situation.

This is a good support system for a very reasonable price.. I injured my lower back (resulting in surgery) five months before buying this posture corrector. All my life I had less than optimal posture where I would hunch forward. This likely contributed to the overall weakness in my lower back and now results in lower back pain when I hunch forward for even short amounts of time. The product forces me to keep my back straight and shoulders back. resulting in me both sitting and standing straighter, even when not wearing the product. It really helps the lower back pain that results from sitting or standing with my upper body hunched forward. Pros: - Relatively comfortable and can be worn for longer and longer without undue fatigue - The adjustable shoulder straps help you find the right amount of tension to keep your shoulders back - Lightweight and easily work under t-shirts or dress shirts without anyone seeing externally Opportunities for Improvement: - The velcro loop patches on the waist belt could be better positioned and layered. I bought an XL size (I'm 6'1" tall, 215lbs and have a 35" waist) and it is a little big for my waist, requiring me to tighten it beyond the available velcro loop. The waist belt is a wide main belt with reinforcing straps on each side. The outer side of the main belt has a 6" swath of velcro loop, about 1.5" of space, and another 1" swath of velcro loop. The inner tip of the right side has about 2" of velcro hook. It would be better if there was simply a single swath of velcro loop that extended a few inches from where the 1" loop patch currently sits. This would allow me to tighten the main belt and put less strain on the reinforcing straps. Regardless, If something happened to the belt I have, I'd buy another one of these.

We bought this product a few months ago to test whether we could correct our curving posture, but unfortunately the product was more effective in tightening our stomachs than it was to make our arching back straight. The back brace was effective at pushing our shoulders back and restraining our upper movements to a few tasks. However, the bottom pieces of the strap was not as effective at posturing our backs to become straight but instead tightened our bellies. It was more of a weight control garment than anything else. After a week of utilizing the staff sporadically throughout the day and the following week of wearing the strap for 18 hours and then utilizing it again for the next several weeks, there was no real difference in our overall posture. All we noticed is the immediate tension when putting on the strap in our upper body shoulders and that was it. However, it was for the most part comfortable to put on. We suggest applying it over a t-shirt and not your bareskin as the tension from the straps will cause irritation and rashes to your skin after excessive use. Also note: This our first time testing and buying a back brace and so we do not have a baseline to compare this particular product with. This is our overall experience utilizing the product so far and will update it accordingly. Our rating scale Design: 3/5 Utility: 3/5 Effectiveness: 2/5 Noticeable flaws: The straps didn't give the needed tension to straight our backs and felt like we were wearing a stomach restriction garment than a back strap. Our answers to the frequently asked questions: Will this make your back straight? The short answer is no. We're reading a few of the comments and most people quoted in saying that it takes time and dedication to train your back to become straight, but we felt that the product should provide us with some level of support to help that process. In this case, it didn't so much. Can you work out at the gym in this? We utilized this strap while working out and it works just fine. It might actually be better as it provides some tension and stability to your workout, but we don't recommend it for strenuous activities (heavy weight lifting). I am 6'2 and about 195,what size should I get? Please see their size measuring chart. Overall, we had some issues with this particular item, but we would like to test other straps to measure whether this strap was effective or not. This is my second attempt to get my review posted. I did the first one right after I got the Small size (which was sent immediately by Customer Service after finding the Small/Medium was too large. When I called Customer Service about the first one, I was greatly impressed by being told immediately they would send the second brace with two-day delivery and no charge--which they did. This company's desire first of all is to please customers and do what they can to make things right. In my opinion, this is awesome and makes this company one of the very best companies I have dealt with. The Small fit perfectly and has really helped the back and neck pain I had. In fact, I don't want to take it off it feels so good and frees me to go about my business without the pain. I think there was much careful thought, research, and planning (even in the small details) that went into designing and making these braces. The fabric and other materials are good quality, and,unlike other back braces I had seen, are simple and easy to put on. The Posture Guide that was included is great! I always like to see diagrams, pictures, instructions, and other information about how to use the thing I am purchasing. When I found this back brace, I was just about to find and print out posture exercises on the internet. Then here comes this Posture Guide which has everything in it done very professionally and containing pertinent information! I am tremendously impressed and satisfied with this back brace and recommend it to others.

Summary - nothing more than some velcro straps attached to fabric. it is NOT effective, it provides no support. for more details read on... before purchasing this i checked out numerous pages of this type item on amazon, there are a lot to choose from. i needed something more than all those others that which as shown were nothing more than fabric, velcro and elastic straps. i wrongly thought based on the images shown this had some sort of semi rigid or rigid parts within so it could actually do what was intended to do. what i received in the mail was not at all what i expected. it arrived in a small padded envelope maybe 10" x 10". i opened it and a good portion of that envelope was used to stuff documents and a thick exercise booklet? after that all that remained was a small bundle of straps and cloth nothing substantial whatsoever. i gave it a try nonetheless. you are supposed to tighten the lower horizontal strap around your lower abdomen. you have to tighten down so much it is uncomfortable but the worst part of that process is that once you begin to move it begins to ride up. no matter how tight it does not stay in place. as it rides up the upper straps, meant to apply pressure and pull you back towards a more upright position, lose tension and stop working. but as said there is nothing here but cloth, straps and velcro. so all said unless you plan to super glue this thing to your body it will not stay in place. it will NOT and does NOT work as intended. this is no different than all those others sold here that range from ten bucks on up. why this has an 'amazon's best' attached is beyond me. *try a kids or college students backpack loaded up with books. going that route would do a better job with just straps and gravity than this thing. a bit of sarcasm but hopefully point made.

This is my second posture corrector to review from FlexGuard Support and I must say, they really know how to correct your posture! I just got this and was so disappointed. It looked substantial and had lots of good reviews. The only thing to like was ....that it was delivered quickly. I had a similar product from Amazon in the past that was great. I might have loaned it to a family member. None of these posture correctors force you into good posture. If they did, it would not help strengthen necessary muscles. Instead, they put enough pressure to remind you, and you can tell how to correct your posture from the pressure. They also make slumping uncomfortable. They do give minor assistance to correct further than you could without the corrector. The problem is this item DOES NONE OF THAT. I tried it on. Nothing. I had to of course take it off to adjust the straps since there is no way to put this on and make minor shoulder strap adjustments. I took it off twice more to tighten the shoulder straps. Finally, I had them so tight that it was very difficult to get it on. It constricted under my armpits. Yet, there was ZERO backward pressure on my shoulders. I slumped into poor posture with ZERO support and no additional resistance. --- the further you slump the more resistance it should exert. What is the point of this? Why didn't I give it a 1 ???? It got here promptly, it did not stink, and the stitching looked durable. It going back and I will see if I can search my order history and get the same one I had before, Don't waste any more time considering this item.

Best posture corrector, quality is fine. Worth it.

Very slow delivery, without tracking. Delivered later than originally indicated. No seller communication on deliver status and seller unresponsive to contact. No instructions for correct fitting / application of product. Warranty registration website does not work. Product is ok. Posture guide book is interesting.

This is a quality product that will help you become more aware about your posture and will prevent slouching when you wear it by pulling your shoulders back. Highly recommended

This item really helped when I was spending lengthy hours on the laptop writing my dissertation. It stops you from hunching over which support upper neck tension. I tend to get neck tension due to posture issues which triggers migrains but found this to significantly reduce symptoms and didn't get Migrains as much as I normally would. I did keep it on for a number of hours but took breaks from it, when you sit back down without the support it you can definitely feel the difference. I would recommend and it really did help me. I Googled various blog posts which helps you to choose the right back support for your needs so do this first before purchasing. I bought this off the back of one of the blog posts.
