Little plastic pieces falling off everywhere. Anyone else?** A: Yes! This chew is absolute garbage and a danger if your pet has anything more than a moderate chew. My French bulldog chomped the end off of this whithin an hour. I couldn’t find the piece he bit off. A few hours later he began vomiting. He vomited 10 times in 24 hours trying to expel the pieces from his stomach. He finally got a piece up, but because it was so sharp it also brought a lot of blood with it. We’ve gone 20 hours without vomiting, so I’m hoping he’s finished and okay. **Q: Are these made in China? The Dogwood Stick, Deerhorn, Chick-a-Bone and Bully Chews are all composed of several polymers (which are plastics) and either wood flour, ground antler and are designed to flake as they are chewed. While not a food item, these flakes are ok if ingested. If your dog begins to chew off larger pieces rather than the flaking that is designed, please take the product away from your dog to avoid choking or ingestion. She's worn off a couple of inches, but it's taken a few weeks. I love that she can't break off chunks if the antler bone and I don't have to worry about her chokong. This seems to kind of shred.
