With the new pump I only used it a couple short times and noticed a lot of leakage from the head. Unlucky for me I missed the product return window. If I used the pump regularly I would have noticed the leak and sent it back earlier. I have attached a photo of the leak. The head screws are tight. I hope this helps. It did work as advertised and I sure did like it, but it made it just over a year and it quit. It no longer works at all and I'm having to replace it. I use these a lot. I expected this pump to last for at the least several years for the price, but it only lasted about a year. I can buy cheaap pumps with the same GPM and pressure for 1/3 the cost and they last longer.
