**Q: what filter to use with ev9259-24 ql3b head?**
A: A variety of Everpure filters will fit this head, but for general kitchen drinking and cooking use, I go with a carbon filter, EV9601.

**Q: does it come with the fiting**
A: 3/8 female iron pipe thread. Does not come with the fitting.

**Q: Is the valve close win the black handle his up vertical or down horizontal?**
A: Up closed, down open.
