It's large enough to adjust the amount of tea leaves whether you're making a cup of tea, a pot or a pitcher. Another advantage this infuser has over a more traditional, smaller ones (sort of like a silicon tea bag, etc.) is that this one has enough room for the tea leaves to move about in the infuser and fully expand. I feel like I get more of the tea flavor out faster that way. The other details I enjoy are the little handle, the spoon that comes with (it's a good quality, sturdy spoon), and of course, the little drip tray for the infuser. Cleaning is easier than the other infusers too.
