This one is to replace my backup drive that quit working. I had built one of my PCs on a budget and used Patriot 250 to build the OS on. I later bought a Samsung M2 for the OS that installed neatly on the board. So I initially cloned the Patriot to the Samsung. Later, when I used backup software, the M2 (Source Drive) listed as Drive 2. Weird. Since it is the C: drive for the OS. Thus my Patriot regular SSD (Now being used at Target Drive) backup drive, showed as Drive 1. I did this for over a year until my backup quietly failed. And then I realized the Patriot is smaller by 9GB. It is 223, the Samsung is 232. Before I came to that realization, I thought I had a software problem, so I reinstalled Discwizard (Note, you must have One Seagate drive for versions later that SeagateDiscWizard_28500) and then used an upgraded version. The problem went like this: clone/backup restarted into DOS then opened it's UEFI dialog and then the clone disk window opened. I looked like it was about to start copying. Then it just restarted. No error message was ever shown. The backup quietly failed. I saw with the Windows Disk Manager that the Patriot was too small for the partition backup from the Samsung. The fix was easy, Samsung drive is now backed up to Samsung all great. I mention this for anyone who has a phantom cloning failure.
