I have an alpinestars gp plus r** A: We haven't tried our leather care products on this exact jacket, so I'd encourage you to check with the manufacturer before treating to see what they think. Sometimes leather can be treated and/or coated with protective synthetic products that prevent the leather from being able to absorb treatments. My hunch is that it will work great, but we'd hate to have our product not meet your expectations. If you want to give it a shot and decide it's not the right product for you, please let us know and we can authorize a return for a full refund. **Q: can this be used on a purse** A: Absolutely. Our leather care products do not contain any dyes, chemicals, or preservatives, and are safe to use on all types of leather. Please note that some darkening will occur after using our products, however lighter coloration fades back over time as the leather dries out. **Q: Will this work on nubuck leathers?** A: I haven't used it on nubuck. I have waxed suede and it changes the texture of course. I quite like the effect, but it's not for everyone. It is probably best to stick with spray if you want to preserve the look of the nubuck. **Q: I just bought a sheepskin leather jacket. Will this kit work for it?** A: Yes, the Leather Care Kit will work great. I had used just the boot wax before, but my leather boots have gone through a couple of rough winters without really being treated beyond a bit off a wipe off once a month or so, so they really needed a lift. I was considering taking them to the cobbler to get them fixed up, but I knew it would be pretty expensive for something I should be able to do myself if I could get the right products. This Otterwax kit was the right product. I should have taken a before and after pic but I was too excited to use it to think about that and set to work as soon as it arrived. It completely revitalized the leather, brought a luster back to it, left it soft and supple, but protected from the winter moisture thanks to the wax. It also smells nice and is easy to use with the instructions.
