**Q: Will this work with 6-32 and 8-32 taps?**
A: No.  Too big (9” long) for little taps. For little taps you need a tap wrench like Starrett 174 that is around 3.5 - 4” long.

**Q: What is the length of the tap handle from end to end?**
A: 9 inches from end to end , made of cast steel and not cheap pot metal.

**Q: How wide to jaws open**
A: Enough to fit a 1/2- 13.  Wouldn't hold a 3/8-18 ,NPT

**Q: Will this hold a tap with an 1/2” square?**
A: Mine does. .5" is it's max capacity.
