I have used it with an SB-600 at 1/2 power for outstanding headshots. You do have to be careful about opening it, just point the end down and let it fall open itself, otherwise I can see how it could be damaged. Without the difusion material on it makes a great umbrella. Used with a 300ws studio strobe it is fantastic.
