The Monstrum F07 is a compact, lightweight rail mounted flashlight suitable for a wide range of firearms from shotguns to tactical rifles. Our most compact flashlight model yet, it measures only 2.4 inches in length and 1.3 ounces in weight. It mounts securely to any Picatinny rail system including most standard pistol accessory rails. Crafted from aircraft grade aluminum, it is both sturdy and lightweight. The light can be used with or without the included remote pressure switch. It can also be removed from the rail mount and used as a stand-alone flashlight. The 90 degree offset model features the light mounted to the side of the rail mount. Suitable for rifles and shotguns, it allows for clearance around grips, bipods, or other accessories and for easier switch access.A detachable remote pressure switch, keychain, and one CR2 battery are included with purchase.

Review: Great rail mounted flashlight! - Really like this compact flashlight for my AR-15 carbine. It is nice and compact, about the size of a roll of Lifesaver candies. I didn't want a big oversize case or a blowtorch like light beam. The 100 lumens is enough light to illuminate and identify your target in the average room for a home defense situation without running the risk of overpowering light to blind yourself. As much as us guys believe the bigger the better, there is such a thing as too much light. It is also a big battery drain. Nice metal body that seems sturdily built. The threads for the battery enclosure tailcap are very fine so the user has to be extra cautious to not strip the threads. I also like the low profile picatinny bracket mount. It was easy to mount and adjust without completely removing the screw. Nice matte black finish that matches my carbine just perfect. I first mounted the light on the right side of my carbine but I did not like the shadows it casted from my barrel and BIUS (back-up iron sights) into my primary field of view. I moved it over to the left side where it does cast an edge of light on the BIUS but it is not noticeable in the viewable beam of light in front of me. In that position it is also located just above my Tacticon laser which allows a quick flip of the thumb back and forth from my laser to the light. This is very convenient with my grip style which rests my thumb across the top of the left rail. My only concern with the light is the durability and lifecycle of the tailcap power switch. It doesn't seem too cheap but this is where corners can be cut to reduce the cost of the light. The device does come with a remote pressure switch that I have elected not to use. I don't have any experience with these switches so I am unable to provide any feedback. I like my selection and think it is a great value for the apparent quality of the light. I have not shot with it yet so we will have to see how it holds up to the mechanical forces of firing. I will keep my review updated to reflect my experience.
Review: Great for the price - The mount is sturdy and holds the flashlight close to the rifle. Its mounted on an Ar and does not protrude over the side rail. However, it will not fit beside my MBUS sight, so those with wide sights will have to either run it behind them, or on another rail. The light is very bright and crisp. Pressure pad has two buttons, but both are only pressure buttons, there is no button to keep light on with a single click. Pad seems well built. I'll have to see how it holds up after a few hundred rounds and will provide updates. All in all, first impressions are great. UPDATE 9/24/18 - flashlight observed to have rubber seal on end caps. Dumping water on unit passed, no moisture observed in battery compartment ( did not fully submerge unit). 200 round test and flashlight continues operating properly. Used on a 10.5 upper with A3 break. This upper creates alot of concussion and unit did not break or fault, nor did the mount come loose. This is a great unit. Strongly recommend

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How many slots does this take up on rail?**
A: 1 1/2 inches. Maybe 2 slots.

**Q: How has the CR2 battery life been with the unit ?**
A: Awesome. This was a great buy for my husband's birthday. He loves it and the light is so bright and easy to use when you put it on a firearm. The position of the way you turn the light on is brilliant. VERY SATIFIED WITH ALL ASPECTS OF THIS ITEM!!!

**Q: How could I Replace the pressure switch**
A: The pressure switch seems to be the weak link . Mine stopped working as soon as I moved the wire . I took it apart and saw that the joke of a soldering job had broken . I soldered the wire back on with plenty of solder and have had no issues. I have 2 of these and took the second one apart before it failed and it was a joke also. Soldered it also.

**Q: Batteries used?**
A: It uses a CR2 battery. I picked up the rechargeable ones from amazon a while back.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty nice
*by J***. on February 11, 2018*

I'm giving this 4 stars because the light itself is great, the brightness is great, everything is great except the remote button. The button works but I didn't receive anything to mount that anywhere so it just hangs there. I'm probably gonna zip tie it to the front grip. It didn't come with any ties, double sided tape or Velcro, nothing. It's just a button that hangs out like my friends do. So I'm going to solve this problem with a zip tie and hope that works how I plan. Other than that, it also has a regular button like most flashlights have on the back with an on/off button but the remote button is more if a pressure switch which I like better because it doesn't require you to move that much and you can shut it off when needed just by lifting your thumb or finger from it. The light is a little smaller than I imagined but it's a beast for it's size. It's about 2" long maybe 3" tops and can mount itself to any picatinny rail. It sits offset so you don't have to worry about it blocking the scope or anything which is nice. I have a red dot sight on my bushmaster AR15 .223/5.56 and the light I mounted in front of it, can't even see the flashlight itself through the sight. As far as the beam and what you're looking at through the sight, it's awesome. I definitely recommend this for the cost and yes I tested the light, it's bright. My eye is still a little blinded from it after like 20 minutes lol I'd feel bad for someone if I blinded them with it... not really cause if that had to happen then they deserve atleast to be blinded.
