The gear ratio for this motor is 294:1, thanks! **Q: My question is for the Manufacturer: I presently have the 300:1 #236575, in replacing it can I use the high torque 500:1 287298?** A: Be clear. A) the 500:1 motor turns the output shaft 1 time for every 500 revolutions of the motor. The higher the ratio, the slower the slide moves and the higher the torque. B) This is not a 500 rpm motor. C) Both motors must be the same ratio (500:1 or 300:1) on a given slide. If not the slide will never sync because one side is moving faster than the other. D) The high torque motor will destroy the aluminum gears that interact with the rack on the slide for a 300:1 system. E) The current required to move a heavy slide with a 300:1 motor in a 500:1 original system will be higher and potentially damage the controller. Best not to try to out think the engineers who designed this slide system. Replace components like for like. **Q: Left side motor Top screw is loose won't tighten is this a need of concern. Please advise thanks** A: I would try some lock tight on the screw first if it that doesn’t work wedge something on top of the motor to hold it in place so it doesn’t move while using the slide out.
