Working as designed

This is by far the best Arlo camera. Image is clear even when zoomed; number plates clearly readable. There is a delay which means the tracking function is not as useful as might be imagined. As my camera is above easy reach I have a wired connection to keep the battery charged. From experience this is highly desirable if not essential unless in a location with little activity and the camera is easily accessible.

Shocking equipment and shocking customer service. Paid a fortune for 2 ultra cameras and hub. Rubbish range, rubbish motion recording but worst of all garbage quality. Used cameras in accordance with instructions and inner mount thread had seperated from camera. Customer service aren't remotely interested and only 6 months old. Will be buying different make cameras once my years subscription runs out. DO NOT BUY THIS RUBBISH.

Excellent camera Hi definition picture and easy to set up Worth the money

It was sold refurbished but as new. I’d expect the camera to be supplied as new with all the parts. Did not have a charging cable. So could not use the camera I had to buy a cable separately. So although the camera is in excellent condition it was useless day one. Apart from this the camera itself is great. Detects motion and tracks people cars or animals.

great camera let down a little by the software my devices are all apple and there's always something daly going wrong little things that shouldn't be a problem like incorrect battery charge status and mysterious disconnection with the arlo base station I have a essentials camera connected to and that goes out in sync with the arlo 2 that can now connect via 5ghz

These rechargeable cameras seemed like a good idea.. But I do find that they need charging almost weekly. Which means ladders etc. I was OK with that even though it was a bit of a pain. What isn't acceptable is that one of the cameras has rusted on the charging point which has fallen apart and is now unusable. I live in a coastal location so wouldn't advise purchasing these type of cameras for coastal areas.

Battery last 3 days (not advertised 3 months) if all features are enabled. Have since purchased the Arlo Solar Panel and the battery is still draining at an alarming rate. Admittedly we live in the northern climes (NL) but it’s September and I’m seeing little change in battery performance with or without the solar panel.

Très bien, c'est la 5eme camera Arlo Ultra2 4K que je mets en place avec les petits panneaux solaires qui je pense est indispensable afin d'éviter de les recharger tous les 5 à 6 mois (selon utilisation), la qualité d'image est impressionnante avec un très bon zoom, etc.. Au final cela fait deux ans que mon installation est en place et je renouvelle mon abonnement. Photo en pleine végétation avec son panneau solaire et sa petite housse version camouflage en silicone.

Yo llevo ya 4 años con las cámaras Arlo y necesitaba esta cámara para una zona que estaba descuidada de vigilancia, ahora ya tengo cubierta toda la zona exterior de la casa...la calidad de la imagen sobresale respecto a otras marcas más baratas y son fáciles instalar y configurar...

Arlo è sinonimo di eccellenza costruttiva, design e dotazione. La telecamera Ultra 2, assieme alla Ultra, è l'ammiraglia della linea e rappresenta il punto d'arrivo per chiunque voglia proteggere la sua casa da intrusioni, monitorarla e fornirla anche di un adeguato sistema di sicurezza. Dotata della straordinaria modalità di registrazione in 4K e di una nuova portante radio wireless di estrema potenza, anche se non ancora sfruttabile in Italia, la Ultra 2 è l'over the top per quanto riguarda le wifi camera, a livello mondiale. Non sto qui a descrivere le varie funzioni dell'oggetto, che sono tante, ma posso dire di esserne estremamente soddisfatto. Già possessore di due Essential XL e di una Ultra, grazie all'Hub VMB 5000, ho potuto creare un anello di sicurezza con tutti i dispositivi in mio possesso. Il controllo del sistema, tramite interfaccia web, è straordinario. I tempi di latenza, con una linea in fibra da 80 megabits in downstream e 20 megabits in upstream sono assolutamente accettabili. L'archiviazione, possibile grazie all'Hub, sia in locale che in remoto, la sirena autonoma su singola telecamera, la visione notturna e tanto altro, fanno dei sistemi Arlo l'eccellenza in questo settore. Praticamente, è come decidere di comprarsi un automobile e scegliere una Rolls Royce.
