Turn ignition on, select "MEDIA" on the radio panel and "AUX" appears on the face. Enjoy. Static suppressor was not required on my MX5

This is so easy and works great. Slide the small side panels forward and remove the two screws each side of the radio and slide it forward. Install the plug with the locking tab down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smoother install than expected

Installed on my 2007 Mazda CX7 with factory installed navigation. I was a bit apprehensive, but got the trim out, removed the radio/nav unit which is the top rack. Plugged in this connector and plugged the other connectors back in. Turned on the radio, press the Media button. The AUX1 appeared on the screen and it worked like a charm! Dont forget to connect the antenna back.
