I wish there was more instructions on the best way to get 1v1 pouring though for the mixture. Overall, I really like the resin. It’s fun to play around with, but it is bubbly even with tricks like that warming it up in a hot cup, letting it sit, stirring 3+ minutes slowly, and using a lighter. Still couldn’t pop all the bubbles in the bottom and middle of the keychains. And if so, what's the amount?** A: No minimums! Just an equal 1:1 ratio of resin to hardener! We have mixed tiny amounts in clear plastic shot glasses and stirred with a coffee stir stick. As long as it's mixed thoroughly ( we recommend 3 mins ) you're good to go! **Q: Is this stuff in any way save for the environment, next 7 gen, etc?** A: It’s nonVOC. No fumes. I’m no environmental specialist but I can say I feel much safer using this than other epoxy that requires face masks and/or respirators. Hope this helps. **Q: Can i use this on ceramic tiles that i have done acrylic pours on? ceramic tiles with alcohol ink? thx.** A: yes and it works wonderfully, but before you use it with alcohol ink, be sure to spray the tiles with Kamar spray varnish. If you don't, the resin will make the ink run. **Q: Can you use it on paper?** A: Yes :) ArtResin epoxy resin will seal in all kinds of papers, including photo paper, tracing paper, linen paper, origami paper, Yupo paper, etc. Resin isn’t like water—if you pour it on paper, it doesn’t necessarily soak into it provided you are using good quality paper. If you apply wet resin on dry paper, you will be able to touch the other side of the paper and it will be dry. Low to medium quality papers can absorb the resin making colors appear darker, however this can be corrected by first applying a sealant such as Mod Podge before using ArtResin epoxy resin. Glossy paper works best for photos. In the past I've used Ice Resin and a brand that I picked up at Michaels. Both of those seemed to intuitively know how to spread out and dome effectively. In working with Art Resin, I found it needed to be coaxed to move to the sides and corners. That in itself is good because it does give you more time to work with the product without it racing ahead of you. Within 24 hours I had a nice hard coat, (although I always wait 72 hours for a full cure). I made a horrible gooey mess of one of the projects and I tried to clean it up...which of course made it much worse. In the future, I'll wait until after it cures to try to fix because Art Resin cleans up nicely and is easy to fix any mistakes. I used this product for a small wood project (about 3" x 9") and some bezel jewelry.
