While tall, it fits well in a refrigerator door rack. After the coffee is brewed and the filter and grounds are removed, the pitcher’s stopper provides a tight seal to keep the coffee well for weeks. When you open it to pour, a detent position in the stopper let’s you know it is open; turn further to remove the stopper completely to access the filter. The pitcher is clear and resilient— it looks pretty much unbreakable. It’s very smooth and cleans easily. Everything comes apart and can be thoroughly and easily cleaned. When put together again, whether brewing or being poured from, it doesn’t leak. It also makes a larger volume of coffee than most cold brew pitchers (but you can make less if you want).In summary, I think this product is great! I don’t normally write product reviews, but felt moved to do so by how much I really like this thing!PS: A very coarse grind and longer brew times works well. I grind my beans at the grinder's coarsest setting. I get very few fines in the carafe and what there is settles in a day. I don’t have that many grounds in my coffee? I see others say that in the reviews but I haven’t noticed, yet .
