This is based on how hot coffee is kept. Heated up the inside with hot water to warm it first. Put in hot coffee, put it on the counter. About 1.5 hours it was tepid at best. My little Wal-mart one keeps things hotter than this thing. Then there is the issue of the lid. The heat made the rubber pliable so it did not actually seat securely, it moved around. That in turn created some type of suction that if you have arthritis in your hands as I do, good luck trying to get the lid off.All in all, it went back and I will stick with my little Wal-mart puppy that at hour 6 it is at the tepid point. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these tumblers *by T***I on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2016* I've been on a mission this fall to get a boat load (well, at least 20) and whenever I see a 30 oz tumbler at a reasonable price I pounce.
