I went to Puerto Rico for 9 days and spent 6 at the beach. I was looking for a colorful beach towel to match my bathing suits. Not only do you get 2 for 1 on the design, this thing is super absorbent and DOES NOT retain sand. I skeptical at first, but I didn’t even use the “real beach towel” I brought. It’s more like a smooth, velvety texture and dries really quickly. Even when I got out of the water and laid on it, it absorbed the water out of my bathing suit. Very lightweight for travel and folds compact nicely. I have only used it to dry my hands, but it worked great.Bought it for a trip to carry in my backpack.Love how compact it is and that the elastic band to keep it rolled is sewn onto it so it doesn't get lost. Colors are true.I took off 1 star because I didn't love the bag- it was really tight trying to get it out and I didn't even try to get it back in. So it is basically worthless.
