This carpet tape is extremely sticky, which worked very well. The edges of my rugs are stuck, no curling. The tape was easy to apply to the smaller front door rug, but the octagon shaped rug was a little more tricky. I put both rugs on the dining room table to work on them. The small 2 1/2 ft rug went perfectly. However, the octagon shaped rug would have been better worked on on the floor. Because once I picked it up off the table, and flip it around, the sides stuck together and boy oh boy, trying to get the edges unstuck was difficult. In retrospect, it was kind of funny. There is no movement in the rugs. Product is good, and is priced fairly.

I bought bath mats to put in front of the sinks in my bathroom, but one of them is in front of the door, which swings inward, and the door kept getting caught on the mat. I used this tape on the mat where the door slides over it, and it stays firmly in place, allowing the door to swing cleanly over it and not get caught. I have tile floors for reference. It is SUPER sticky, and I haven't tried removing it yet, so we'll see if it leaves any kind of residue, but according to the other reviews, it shouldn't. Overall, a good value for the money and very durable. I think it would work on any rug so even though I just used a small amount, I have no doubt I'll use it again in the future.

Works really good. The edges of a new large area rug were sticking up from the way it came packaged. The rug is very thick and large, and the whole edge stuck up despite trying everything to train it to lay flat. It was just enough to catch a toe- very frustrating. This tape is thin but really sticks to both the carpet and floor, so it was easy to use along the whole edge that was sticking up. It’s been a week and it’s still holding strong. Also it doesn’t show under the carpeting or leave any mark on the floor.

Good functional tape. It keeps my rugs from moving and I no longer have to worry about falling.

Works super well! My rug has not budged an inch since I applied this - it was kind of a pain to get it on the rug carefully, since it is SO flimsy and sticky when you first peel the plastic off. But now it is almost difficult to peel the rug up off the floor! It's great stuff.

Finally got to use this carpet tape for the product that I bought for my stairs. I've only used it in a few spots here and there but it works well. It's double sided you place it underneath and it's sticks to your carpet and to what you're putting it on. It's a great value for the money. It helps with safety in case the carpet is lifting a bit

The tape did a great job holding down the corners of some new unrolled area rugs and runners onto my bamboo hardwood floor but a couple of weeks later I needed to reposition one corner of one rug and the tape was practically impossible to remove. I tried using hair dryer and that just made the residue softer and stickier. I eventually used adhesive remover (in my case, Duck brand). That was after just a few weeks. I don't know how difficult it will be to remove if you leave it in place for a year or more.

This works amazing and doesn’t damage the floor or the rugs! I would definitely recommend this to everyone. It takes some work to remove from the flooring to replace it when I wash my rugs but worth the effort.

The tape worked great for putting the corners down on my new carpet.

Nice and sticky - perhaps a little too sticky but I think that is dependent on the backing material of the carpet. It is indeed true that you can use this particular tape to stick carpet to carpet. What do I mean? Winter. You may have an all year carpet in the hallway to the front door, and now comes snow and salt time. Most people put a black rubber backed carpet on top of their existing carpet to protect the year around. The problem with these carpets is that they often curl at the edges. So with this tape you can prevent the curling and people accidentally tripping on the winter overlay while at same time having peace of mind on not harming your year around carpet with goo.
