I read the instructions, inserted the ceramic plate and plugged it in on my kitchen counter for an hour, before moving it to my bedroom (really, though, there was no need to move it since my apartment is fairly small and I just need to keep the doors open). My entire apartment smelled amazing within 3 hours and I slept better that night than I have in years! Needless to say, it also helped speed up my healing process at that point. Now, we have entered allergy season in the Pacific Northwest. Still amazed! I run it most of the time, occasionally turning it off during the day when I am at work. My apartment now constantly smells great and I sleep well EVERY NIGHT.
