This light is fairly solid built out of all metal. The hinge and lock work well and the one thing they got wrong in the description is the size of the batteries. They are not triple AAA batteries. They are "Double AA batteries." I would say the one disappointment is the mounting bracket. It doesn't grab and hold the light very well. I corrected this problem by using a few tooth lock washers. (see photo) These washers grab on to any metal surface and keep it from slipping. They are sold on desertcart. I used four of them and now it stays in place. The light is fairly bright. It is not going to be as bright as other led bike lights I have owned but for the price, they will work.
