## Description

Whether you chose the versatile 9700 straight/boom cymbal stand, beefy 9710 straight stand or new 9701 low model, you’ll be playing a cymbal stand that’s used by more top professionals than any other. Drummer-friendly features like Toothless Tilter with techlock, adjustable cymbal seat, integrated memory locks and heavy-gauge tubing make these stands road worthy and reliable beyond compare.

Review: Just great. Super stable, holds all my rides, some pretty heavy 4000g+ 22 inch cymbals rock solid. I hit pretty hard and I have no doubt this can take it. Always wanted a stand that would go lower, specifically for my ride cymbal when I play in a single rack tom (4 piece) configuration. Gets plenty low. Perfect placement of memory locks. This has DW quality and ingenuity throughout. Its pricy but worth it for a lifetime stand. I could see this still being used decades from now. I have other DW stands I've owned for 30+ years and they still do the job as well today as they did when they were new.
Review: I debated about the 9700 and the 9701 for a while. In then end I saved up and bought both! The DW 9701 Boom arm at it's lowest set up pivots at about 24" from the ground. The DW 9700 Boom arm at it's lowest set up pivots at about 29" from the ground. The pivot point being where the boom arm rotates around the top inner tube. Also this does not account for the cymbal seat (which can also be adjusted!) Of course these may vary slightly depending on how you position the legs! I hope that helps! I looked everywhere for those numbers! Amazing stand, Very heavy duty! I would 100% recommend for either a low ride over the bass drum, or a low china beside the floor toms. It can also be easily converted into a straight stand as well if you dont need to boom arm feature!
