Exactly what I needed. *by G***L on September 28, 2016* These work perfectly for our application: pendant lights made from antique glass insulators. The inside dimension of the insulators really limits the size of bulb you can use, but these fit perfectly with room to spare. I wanted something bright, but I wasn't crazy about putting a super hot halogen bulb inside these thick pieces of vintage glass. And I wanted something that could be used with a dimmer switch. These LEDs are absolutely bright enough, and dim consistently and evenly. I hope they never burn out. But if they do, I'm coming right back here to get more of them. ### ⭐⭐ so you will not get that nice, warm glow you are used to *by A***R on May 5, 2016* "Dimming" is a strong word for what it does - it is either bright or almost completely dark. The color is definitely colder than the incandescent bulbs, so you will not get that nice, warm glow you are used to.Saves energy, for sure, but it is not a good replacement for a decorative incandescent lamp. If you just need light then it would work well (but then why would you go for a dimmable bulb?) ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good lights.
