When the item came it was well wrapped within the original box and everything looked very nice. There were no scratches and it looked brand new. I was EXTREMELY satisfied with my purchase. I was excited to get it in my tub and shower because it looked so nice and was well worth the money I paid (I couldn't touch a faucet this nice at lowes for under $100). I gave the item a 5 star because I couldn't even get one this nice had I'd found it at a garage sale. Now I did have to return the item, which as always desertcart has an amazing return policy and returned it no problem. The faucet would not work for my current system. I needed a double handle and you need to make sure you purchase a correct mixing valve that goes with this faucet. I ended up using this with an universal handle and faceplate for an older cartridge shower setup.
