He was over the moon to receive this lovely piece of armor for Christmas. The only bummer is that the metal has to be coated in oil to prevent it from corroding or oxidizing while in transit. I understand it is necessary but it's a pain to clean. Mine came very oiled, not sure if anymore is needed.... Dues vult. **Q: I have a 25 inch circumference head, how well would this fit with an arming cap?** A: I have a large head and it didn’t fit bare as they claimed it would ,i was using it as a reinactment helm and cap and chain mail was definitely out .
