She explains karma and the ego and many things about spirituality. One thing that I liked was that she explained affirmative prayer as not asking God for something, but rather changing ourselves so that we realize we are worthy of having it. The book really ties in with the law of attraction and other teachings about how we control our own lives. The main thing that makes her method of prayer different and better than other affirmative prayer is the fact that you identify possible blocks that are keeping you from achieving this in your life. As you pray, you release these beliefs and affirm new ones. Spending just a little bit of time praying will help you to connect with your spirituality and work on your goals in a positive manner. I have read a lot of new age and self help books, this is my first by this author, and I have to say I am extremely impressed with her knowledge and her teachings.
