I haven't used it a lot, but so far so good. It is pretty straight forward on how to use it and I haven't had any problems. Before I bought this stuffer, I did some research and read that people were having problems with the meat getting stuck in the press, but I haven't had this problem with this stuffer. The meat comes out easy and in good structure. I have only found that you should not press the meat down too hard because it compresses it and then you have a "solid" and dense hamburger. The diameter of the meat is perfect after it is cooked (nice with the buns from Costco) but it is very thick, which I'm okay with. I think that it uses a fair amount of meat, 1 3/4 lbs for 4 burgers. The obvious positive is that you will eat one burger instead of two. There are 4 pieces to keep track of when you store it, so if things tend to "disappear" in your house, then you might not use it for too long. The plastic that the stuffer is constructed with, feels steady and cleans fairly easy. I think it is worth it for the price... ### ⭐⭐⭐ Makes burgers that are too thick to cook properly *by N***! on Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2014* Lots of prep to pre-grill the onions and mushrooms before stuffing. Several attempts needed to find the right amount of beef to put in there. Once stuffed the burger is hugely thick, but only about 4 to 5 inches across. Takes 1/2 pound of beef to fully encapsulate a batch of ingredients. Less beef would not press into a sealed patty. This means you have to carefully grill to cook it through without drying it out. Maybe stuff it with butter? No, don't do that. It would catch fire.Will keep working with this device. On the good side, it is decent quality with cleanly molded parts that fit together well. The slide off bottom piece makes removing the patty easy. I think this is as good as it will get in a burger stuffer, maybe I am just too impatient to make stuffed burgers.BTW, Stilton with grilled onions and mushrooms was really delicious! ### ⭐⭐⭐ ok, but not great *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2014* Works well enough, but requires 1/2 pound of burger for each stuffed patty. Seriously. To create the "bowl" requires more than a 1/4lb, then cover with a smaller amount to cover the stuffed "bowl". Depth of the device does not allow for top and bottom layers of burger to be the same thickness. leaves the top layer thinner than the bottom so cooks unevenly in a simultaneous top/Bottom fryer such as a George Foreman. Frying pan is easier for even cooking. Somewhat disappointed in its "engineering". Kind of a no-brained to design correctly.
