Review: Worked great for a clock I made. - I wanted to make a clock for our newly remodeled bathroom, using the accent colors we had selected for the bathroom. I don't know who was off in the depth measurement...the clock mechanism people, or the people I bought the wood base from. But I had to ream out a part of the back of the wood base for the clock mechanism to fit correctly. Photo is of an unfinished clock, as I hadn't added the hour markers at this point. It appears to keep good time, and the hour and minute markers weren't bent out of shape like other reviews have stated. And I didn't have any problems installing the battery, like other reviews have stated. Overall, I am very happy with this clock hardware.

They seem to work well. The hands are a bit flimsy but I guess that's just how clock hands are. I had hoped they'd be stronger, but they are pretty much exactly the same as the ones I replaced.
