Review: Choose to redesign - The endomorph diet sheds light onto body types and ability to shed pounds. This is especially interesting because author makes correlation between personality traits as well as 3 body types. Author recognizes three different types; endomorph- have a hard time losing and have softer frames. Ectomorphs have harder time maintaining pounds due to faster metabolism. And endomorph generally are more curvy. Author makes a tender point to distinguish between stereotypes. Author has included clear pictures, diagrams and charts for easy explanation. As a bonus an exercise guide with diagrams also lies in book. Author has ALSO included recipes abs a meal plan significant to type. Book is an excellent look into body typing with clear definitions. Review: Great data - This is A fantastic resource and redesign of the keto diet. The book needs a little more proper grammar but all and all is awesome

Proofreading Needed!
The Endomorph Diet book was quickly written with little to no editing/proofreading and no more than cursory attention to the diet plan and recipes themselves. The Index is the book's best feature, without which the book would be cumbersome and hardly useable. Using the index capabilities of the software used to write the book, the author should have been able to indicate the page number of each recipe to save the reader from flipping through the pages and making notes in the book. The author does not state weights or sizes in the recipes. Note the tuna salad sandwich for two servings calls for "2 cans of tuna." A standard can of tuna, weighing 5 oz, contains approximately 4 oz of tuna when drained. A serving size is 2 oz. So two standard cans of tuna would provide a 4 oz serving for two people. While that may not sound like a lot, it is a full can per sandwich: rather large for any average dieter. There are similar examples throughout the recipe and diet plan section that require the reader to pay attention and make adjustments. I have sufficient knowledge and background to know when is needed by my body, and what is just "overkill." All her readers will need this. The diet itself is ok. It provides variety and the meals are easy to prepare. Seems heavy on chicken breasts--costly and, though versatile, induces a "hate chicken" response by the end of the first week. Some meals are also very high in calories -- in excess of 800 per meal--which is many more than I need or want. We (my non-endomorphic husband and I) have stuck true to week 1 and are planning to begin week tomorrow. Our goal is to make it through the 28 days and evaluate from there.

Informative - some recipes lack detail
When I bought this book I wanted to read the 28 day guide. That did not disappoint. Thanks. I also wanted to read and use the recipes for the 28 day guide. That was problematic. There are several recipes in this book that DEFINITELY need to be amended. Several ingredient amounts refer to ambiguous amounts such as “1/2 small bowl of sugar” or “a bowl of oatmeal”. SERIOUSLY? How could anyone know how much to really use? I have numerous versions of “small” bowls in my cabinets ranging from 2 tbsp to 1/2 cup. A bowl of oatmeal could be 1/2 cup dry or 1 cup cooked depending on the type of oatmeal. It doesn’t specify. Recipe ingredients should specify amounts such as 1/4 cup, 1/3 cup, 2 tbsp, etc. .

Incredibly Helpful
Very helpful. If help me drop 50lbs. The calorie tracking was a game changer along with the definition of body types.

who proof-read this book? Waste of money
Page 40: "One healthy meal a week is perfect and helps relieve cravings." What? Page 46: "...if the growing fiber concerns are true, losing a few pounds a little faster is never worth the damage your body can do." I skimmed some of the recipes and I can't figure out what this one means: "Use a transparent kitchen cooking bag and put it inside both lemon cake mix, angel food mix, and chocolate chips. Mix everything together and add water to prepare a tiny cupcake. Put the mix in a mold to prepare a cupcake containing the ingredients and put it in the microwave..." This recipe calls for "1 box of angel food cake mix, I pack of lemon cake mix" and "water" - how much water?? seems to me this is going to make more than a "tiny cupcake" I seriously cannot get past all this rambling. Maybe the recipes I can actually understand will be beneficial, but when she gives you nutritional information for a recipe containing "chicken breast" I think I'll rely on my food app. Then there's the apples and peanut butter recipe, on page 119, that calls for 2 apples, sliced, and 2 T. of peanut butter. The instructions say to slice the apples thinly, then put 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on each slice of apple. And BIG problem. Endomorphs have a problem with carbs? Then why are so many of these recipes carb heavy? These are just a few problems within this book. So often the language reminds me of descriptions of products on Amazon that come from China. Seriously, get someone to proof-read this book next time.

Nice attempt, but horribly written
I’m sure the author of this book had good intentions, and probably even good ideas. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but this book was not up to standards. It’s poorly written. The readability is atrocious. It lacks a good editor and proofreading. It sounds like the jumbled and random thoughts of someone beginning an attempt at organizing their vision into an outline, just jotting down, thoughts and ideas, and trying to figure it out. I really tried, coming back again and again attempting to read it but just found it simply frustrating. The information is OK, but not focused and general information that everyone knows anyway. And the recipes were a joke. You’re trying to introduce supposedly a healthy recipe, and a healthy way of life… But on the ingredient list is a box of angel food cake mix and a box of lemon cake mix? Full of sugar and processed ingredients? Really?? No thank you. Maybe someone else will find the book helpful. Unfortunately, I didn’t.

Excellent Guide
This book is an excellent guide into the best foods to eat, to avoid, how to and what is the best exercise, how to lose weight as an Endomorph Body Style. What is an Endomorph Body Style? The author has a terrific explanation as to what an Endomorph body is, why it is and how best to live with and Endomorph body. The author has a 28-Day meal plan with awesome recipes to help get you and your metabolism going.

DO NOT recommend
Do NOT waste your money. This book is poorly written, with no new information, only basics that everyone knows any way. The book is difficult to read due to the fonts and poor spacing, one item just runs into the next especially in the recipe’s. The meal plan is a joke. I don’t need a recipe to put avocado on toast, make a sandwich, add chia seeds to yoghurt or to put peanut butter on pieces of apple. Many of the recipes are very high in sugars, though the nutritional values do not give sugars and many do not give carbs either. Some of the recipes aren’t even in the plan. If you don’t know much about exercise, you certainly won’t learn anything from this book. FAQ’s are just a rehash of what’s written in this book. I would never follow this eating plan far too high in sugars and carbs. I will be returning this book

Overall, not bad, but definitely have some feedback.
Overall, as mentioned, I enjoyed the information in this book. Some of it, I realized, I've done intuitively. It's been great to put the science with what I've learned on my own. The reason for the meh rating is the lack of professional editing. There is an abundance of typos, redundant information in too many sections, a lack of clear chapter titles, and no information about the author, their credentials, education, or experience. This took away from the helpful information in the book. I appreciate having a 28-day menu and a wide assortment of recipes to go with it.
