This thing went right through 22 sheets of 100# cardstock plus two pieces of that dense thin cardboard that's basically 1/16" thick cereal box. After about a dozen holes it filled up very tightly and I had to use a smaller conventional drill to get all the paper punches out but that wasn't a big deal.
