In order to access the audio controls, you have to download an "Open Camera" app ( a free app I already used). I was excited to try it and then quickly became disappointed. I could not hear myself during playback. I quickly emailed the company for assistance. Then I realized the fault was mine. You have to remove the mic from the jack in order to hear playback. After I realized this, all was good. The mic delivers a clear crisp sound.The response from YouMic was most impressive. When I emailed them about the problem I thought I had, the response was quick.The product itself comes with a lapel clip, two windscreens (red and black), a separate 2 strip jack and a little red carrying bag.I give it 5 stars not just for the product but for the company's response as well. I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to vlogging with my selfie stick. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a very good product. However *by A***R on February 4, 2017* This is a very good product. However, it just doesn't work for what I wanted it to.The packaging is really nice. It comes with the mic, an adapter plug, and an extra filter (so you now have a black and a red one). The mic's cord has a small velcro strip attached so when you roll up your mic it can be contained without bending or getting tangled. The bag is nice as well, it's a pull close bag and just the right size.It works very well on my phone. I considered this mic because of some of the videos filmed while using the mic. These videos stand true and the mic works much nicer than the default phone mic. I have a splitter so that I can use my headphones and microphone at the same time and while you have to use the adaptor with it, it still works fine. No quality lost.However, in the end I got this because it said it was compatible with computers but when I've tried to get it to work it won't. My computer reads it as there but won't recognize it as a functioning microphone. I'm disappointed, but not enough to return the product.Overall, it's a good product but I couldn't get it to work on my laptop.
