It is a good tool, but I have cut off the rear 'bumps' which I felt can rock the pencil tip off line if the rear end meets a bump. The pencil holder is an odd size too, but does hold the pencil ok once it is in. I have used a fine propelling pencil in the holder so that the pencil itself doesn't need to be moved. Not the perfect solution but all in all I am pleased with it.
