It took me about 4 hours to do because I wanted to take my time. So many things can go wrong if you are not careful. To start I followed the youtube video made by iCracked. For hot air I used a hair dryer when I had to removed adhesive parts from the phone. When I was done I was so relieved that every function on the phone worked. The screen looks good as new and I could not tell that it was ever replaced. Review: bad quality of colors and etc - The poorest quality I've ever seen. Very high quality screen. I used two Youtube videos for instructions. Put it all together with the new screen, started right up, even recognized my fingerprints no problem! One complaint about the product, although I knew this going in: I wish it came with thorough instructions, or a link to a video on how to do it. In the description, it says for professional installation only, which is fine, but I'd really prefer to do this myself. It'd be nice to have a DIY option. Some issues (likely NOT related to this product): The earpiece is not working - when answering calls or calling someone, there is no sound. The front-facing camera does not work. My phone no longer charges. (I have tested the charger.) It was working perfectly well before the phone died, but I didn't have my charger on hand so it got all the way to zero before I could plug it in. Left it in for 30 minutes, no sign of life.
