Cannot see any aluminum in the strands. I cannot say for sure they are pure copper though. I can say the cables appear high quality. The case as well. Cost is lower than any advertised as 100% copper. Your decision to make. **Q: Hundred percent copper or copper plated aluminum?** A: Copper plated aluminum. **Q: Are these rubber and will the remain flexible during the northeast winters?** A: Yes the insulated cables are nice. They should last winter weather conditions. I live in Chicago area, winters can be bad but the i did order another jumper cable case because once I took cables out of the current case it was very difficult to put cables back in case. **Q: There are conflicting answers to whether the wires are 100% copper or plated aluminum. Can anyone confirm? Packaging shows a picture of copper wires.** A: I would say copper.
