Hope this answers your question! **Q: Does the "exit" by the slide also have a mesh closing that can be velcroed shut** A: Wait. Sorry. the exit off the slide is open. There is nothing to close off that opening. the other exit has a mesh closing with Velcro. **Q: Will this realistically work with a short basement ceiling (like 7 feet)?** A: 7 ft is tight, but it might. The issue is how high the kid(s) jump. We used it in our old basement but it was 8ft. **Q: What is the height from the floor to the top of the "base"- floor part the child stands on to bounce.** A: My best guess a foot and a half, We dont have ours up right now. The slide side is higher. Keep in mind little ones would need to enter on the left side and exit down the slide. The next size too big indoors. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT Indoors, gets out all that excess 3 yr old energy! *by R***Z on October 7, 2013* My husband and I work at home, and during the seasons that are too cold or rainy, our wonderful, intense three year old can turn into an absolute terror if he doesn't get out his pent up energy. We decided to invest in this because we were out of ideas of how to keep him busy and ACTIVE (he'll sit and play on the ipad all day if we let him). So happy we did! It's little enough to fit in our small living room, but plenty large enough for our 3.5 year old as well as me to sit in there with him. It was super simple to set up, pretty light, and not very loud. About three times a day he'll want to bounce in it for about 30-45 minutes each time, go absolutely berserk and get out tons of energy. He gets absolutely exhausted by the end of the day, which is great for us because bedtimes are much easier (he actually WANTS to go to bed) and it's helped with his appetite (he usually won't each meals, now he is so hungry from all the exercise he'll eat more). So far it's been wonderful. At the end of the day I just roll it up and stick it back in the box and out of the way until the next day. So far, extremely happy with the product, and I'm sure it will save our sanity this winter when the weather gets bad. The only down side (which is not REALLY a down side) is that he gets pretty loud and crazy bouncing around in it, which might drive some people crazy if you keep it indoors like us, but I'll trade happy noises for tantrums any day :) Also, I have Amazon Prime and ordered one day shipping, and even though it said "1-2 days for further processing" I STILL got it in only one day.
