Will this affect the adhesive strength?** A: 3M only offers that product in 36 yard rolls so all short length rolls go on to a rewinder. It does not affect performance though – actually most tape originally starts off in jumbo roll format like 1000 meters and then goes on to a slitter/rewinder at the manufacturer plant like 3M to make the cut rolls (like Β½ inches x 36 yards). I had trim peeling off of a 2002 vehicle and I used this product to reattach it. I cleaned the surfaces well. The adhesive is very sticky, so make sure you get it on straight to start with. I do not think you would be able to peel and reapply with out damaging the product. I temporarily added a wood strip to the area to guide the application.
