Functional bike bling.
It's kind of hard to rate something like this because there isn't really much to them and not much room for variability in function or design. Having said that these feel thick enough to take a fair amount of abuse and are made of a plastic/rubber that is slicker than it is sticky. It feels more like delrin and less like a tire. The green color matches my Jagwire hydraulic hoses and the holes for the spindle and allen wrench line up fine. Overall, if you want something to add a little color to your bike or take the sting out of pedal strikes these will do the job well and they are a decent "upgrade" if you just got a new bike and have the urge to spend money on it.

More Yellow Than Pictured, May Fit Other Cranks with Minor Modification.
Firstly As stated in other reviews, these crank boots are more yellow than pictured, which was exactly the look I was going for. Secondly even though these are intended for race face cranks I installed them on FSA Comet cranks with only minor modification to the spindle hole with a utility knife. These boots have taken many strikes on sharp Arizona desert rocks and seem to be holding up great. Great value from a trusted manufacturer.

Yellow isn’t yellow
Ordered the yellow, and it is much more like a light lime. Not happy.

Neon green. They don't match other yellow Race Face components
They are just as the picture shows neon green. They don't match other yellow Race Face components. You're better off just getting the black ones because you likely have black cranks. All of the other colors seem to match their grips and pedals Etc. I'm not sure why they couldn't make the yellow ones match also. Kind of disappointing since I have yellow grips and pedals on my motobecane Boris X9. Oh well I guess I'll use the black ones.
