Anyone have any luck mixing rinse with dogs daily water?** A: My Cane Corso just had a canine tooth pulled and has an abscess up into his sinuses. He is 9 years old. Anyone who knows Cane’s knows you can’t just pry open their mouths and we have to squirt this stuff to the surgical site after every meal. It takes 2 of us. After the first few times he is getting better at it and I believe it is helping healing. Thank goodness. So guess who just bought a finger toothbrush for my 5 yr old Cane Corso? Yep, I never want this to happen to him. I am also giving him a squirt after meals. They cleaned my boys teeth while they had him sedated and they look beautiful I sent off the bad tissue for biopsy just to make sure it wasn’t anything more serious than dental plaque. My boys are always chewing on bones, sticks , and dental treats. Their teeth didn’t look that bad. Citrus is toxic to cats, so our feline fur babies obviously think this product is poison, and that mom and dad are trying to kill them. I'm sure that this product works fine from a medical standpoint, as our older cat's gums healed up fine when we started using this after she had dental surgery. However, I am probably going to donate it to someone with a dog and seek out an alternative for my cats. We have been administering it with a small oral syringe because it's easier to handle than the straw. I highly recommend trying that if the straw isn't working for you.
