Or should they slipped on only while moving cookware? Thanks** A: I leave the handle on while cooking, as long as the handle is not over the flame, or heating element, which could cause it to burn. The other, I just use when moving the skillet. It is not as secure in place as the handle. **Q: What's the length of the handle sleeve?** A: My cast iron skillet is 12", and the handle easily slides the length of the handle, the grip fits the lift at other end, which is needed, because of weight of skillet with food. **Q: Will these fit on a Victoria 12" cat iron skillet, which has a long curvy 7" handle?** A: This would depend on how extreme and "curvy" the handle is shaped. The grip is moldable not rigid. **Q: Do these grips fit the HA-1 set of cookware?** A: Yes they fit but I do not recommend them. They do not fit the handles snugly and more around. We find the handle hard to hold onto and the pan will turn in your hand because you can't get a good grip on it. We thought these would be more form-fitted but the pan handles just rotate under the plastic.
