I discarded the instructions as i didn’t think i would need them for such a simple product. however, i can’t figure out how to set the time. help?

I need to use this as a digital clock. i cannot figure out how to set it. i go to the clock mode, but i cannot change hours & minutes. help anyone?

I tried to type the entire manual/instructions into my review back in Feb 2019 as many of the questions seem to deal with lack of instructions... SETTING THE CLOCK 1. Press MODE button as many times as necessary until the clock time is shown. 2. Press and hold START/STOP button until the digits start flashing. 3. Press HOUR/MIN/SEC buttons as many times as necessary until the desired clock time is shown on the LCD display. 4. Press START/STOP button or leave unit idle for 30 seconds to exit setting mode. * 12 HOURS / 24 HOURS CLOCK FORMAT Toggle select 12Hr or 24Hr format by pressing START/STOP button while under CLOCK mode. For the 12Hr format, the "PM" icon will appear on the LCD display when the clock time reaches noon time. There is no "AM" icon. * I would post the link to the review (and the ENTIRE typed-up manual) but links might not be allowed - try checking reviews By Most Recent and scroll to Feb 28 2019.

I need to be able to see the time in the dark. Is that possible on this device?
