I also heard paper bedding and cedar chips both can cause issues, so Aspen is probably the best choice for hamsters/guinea pigs. **Q: Can this be used for cat litter?** A: We don't recommend this be used for cat litter. **Q: Is this bedding dust free?** A: It is not 100% dust free but pretty low in dust, and will not harm guinea pigs respiratory systems unlike Cedar or Pine.
