Not a new tank, it’s established.** A: It’s a polymer. It will bind particles together so your filter can catch them. Might need to get a smaller micron filter sock and/or a protein skimmer. Your filter probably isn’t turning over your tank fast enough. **Q: How is this product different from Seachem Pristine?** A: Stability, Clarity and Pristine are all different combinations of bacteria that perfom different function in your aquarium.
