If i set the output voltage i need to power a device, is it also possible to set the maximum current so as not to burn the device i am powering?

Not an answer, he’s asking if he can set output voltage without hooking it up to a device on the output side. Because it potentially can burn out that device without being able to turn it down first before it’s hooked up.
