Oh my, this heats up fast and my chicken turned out crispy and inside was perfect. We purchased a new electric stove and soon found out they have a safety feature the keeps shutting off the burners when they reached a certain temperature. Then several minutes later they would heat up again only to keep repeating the process. I haven’t been able to fry chicken in several years because of this. I did purchase a different fryer from Walmart but it never got hot enough so I was hesitant to try this one and I am so glad I did. This fryer is great. I am so happy because I can fry chicken again. Easy to operate and easy to clean! Wonderful fryer!

I love this deep fryer . This is actually my second purchase. The first one stopped working because I made the mistake of washing the top heating/control unit (the part with the knob and metal rods), which should not be submerged in water. Now I only clean the metal rods and wipe down the control unit instead of washing it. Aside from that, this fryer works really well. It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly. I’ve used it for frying chicken and fish, and everything comes out crispy and delicious. It’s easy to use and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. As long as you clean it properly and keep the heating element dry, it’s definitely worth it. I would purchase again.

Works good. Makes french fries very well yea. Needs a whole jug of oil yea. But you can cover the oil and reuse it until the oil is darkened too much. If you make fried chicken you need to do sterilization cook to keep oil free of fungi.

I ordered this unit because I wanted fryer with the 2L amount of oiI. I used the fryer once. I was happy with the way my battered shrimp turned out. easy to follow instructions and easy to clean. The next try was tonight. I wanted the oil to reach the temp of 375 deg. To be sure, I tested the temp and it never rose above 360 deg. I allowed it to cool down and I set the dial to 375. The green indicator light showed the temp of 375 was reached. I tested again and still just came to 360. As I was cleaning it to return, I noticed two chips along the bottom of oil basin. I didn't d anything to ding it.
