Review: Great product and idea, wish they had them a long time ago. - I used them for filet mignon steak and tofu pieces, I liked them right away for a number of reasons: The grill was on low, i felt the heat was even that way, non of the fat from the meat fell on the burners, so no fire started. the meat will cook in its melted fat which keeps the meat moist, but you can cut the fat before grilling or just wipe it away when grilling, they were non stick for sure, so i didn't have to scrape the meat of the grill bars. Although with the steaks no pieces would have fallen but without a doubt i can see the benefit when grilling vegetables or fish, or anything that can fall thru the grill bar. I recommend them without a doubt. very small price to pay to have a better grilling experience, and at the end i could wash and wipe them clean. Review: Great product - These work great. I love not getting all the yuck on my grill. I scrape them off (once they've cooled) with an old plastic card, and then load them into the dishwasher in an arch shape with the dirty side down. If you're washing a cutting board or a jelly roll pan or some other large flat thing, you could lean the sheet against it (dirty side out of course). That works, too. They do great in the dishwasher. You do NOT need the "copper" sheets. They're just *colored* in a sort of copper color. They don't actually contain any copper--that's just a fad/hoax. Even if they did contain copper, I don't think that would be a big advantage. I’m glad I didn’t pay top dollar. I own a few Kebab skewers, and these are by far the worst. Flimsy and low quality grade. The wood handles finish is very crappy. You get what you pay for! These would be good for veggies or “Yakitori” style meats (small). DO NOT expect “Brazilian style” skewers for this price. Size are true to description. I’m planning on sanding the wood handles and staining them darker for a nice touch.Update: 6/2/20After the first time using these set, I have to say that they are “ok”. Not the sturdiest, but will do hold considerable chunks of chicken well. Easy to clean and work fine. The handles burn rather easy though, so consider that.
