Otherwise this has been a clever little keypad we put on our RV door. I used some heavy duty hook and loop fastener to let me take it off easily for storage. I have had this on the outside of the RV door for about 2 months, in all kinds of weather and it is still going strong. The little red light blinks when you approach it in daylight and the green keypad is lit at night, all the time. I wish the full keypad light would react to motion and turn off after a minute or two to save battery but they haven't run down yet and all is well so far. Overall it gives a little extra feeling of security and perhaps it will deter curious people. We are happy with it.
