Is it the same as loctite 37230?

this one is 37617 and i am not sure if they are the same considering different part numbers,yet they may be..I honestly do not know..sorry I was not able to assist you better

What's the difference between the silver and copper?

Copper reacts with stainless, nickel and aluminum do not. Aluminum has a lower temperature rating and is cheeper. I believe this is aluminum with the 1600 temp rating

Should I put a little on my rear shock bolts after installing new ones?

I use them on spark plugs due to the heat of the engine. I do not see how it would hurt to use on the bolts/nuts for your shocks so go for it.

What is the thrmal conductivity of this?

Here's a better response: 1600 degrees F. This is what I found online for the part number, although the website the below is from references the part # as PM37617, whereas my stick just says 37617.
